About Us
MyMortgageCalculator.org
Why We Built This Site
Most mortgage calculators online are either buried inside a bank's website (and quietly steer you toward that bank's products) or hidden behind a signup wall. We wanted something different: a set of straightforward, accurate calculators that anyone can use in seconds, with no account, no email capture, and no sales pitch attached.
MyMortgageCalculator.org started as a single extra-payment calculator and grew into a full toolkit — covering affordability, refinancing, amortization, bi-weekly payments, prepayment penalties, and side-by-side mortgage comparisons — along with plain-English guides that explain the math behind the numbers.
How Our Calculators Work
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser using standard mortgage amortization formulas (the same fixed-rate calculations lenders use internally). Nothing is sent to a server, which means your numbers stay private and results are instant.
We aim for accuracy, but every calculator is an estimate. Real-world mortgage payments can vary based on your lender's exact compounding method, fees, insurance premiums, and local taxes. Our disclaimer has the full details, and we always recommend confirming final numbers with your lender or a licensed mortgage professional before making a decision.
Who Runs This Site
MyMortgageCalculator.org is an independently run, ad-supported resource. We are not a bank, lender, mortgage brokerage, or licensed financial advisory — we're a small team focused on building clear, useful tools. Where we work with sponsors or partners (disclosed as such wherever they appear), those relationships never influence what a calculator returns; the math is the math.
